Day 5 — account hit a new high near $4,000; booked +$1,520, holding a green ETH long

By ·

Day five was a green one. The account pushed to a new high — running around $4,000 as I write this, against the $2,049.60 I put in. That's nearly double in five days. Booked, my realized and locked-in number, sits at +$1,520 after fees, and it's still the only number I truly count.

Full honesty on the small stuff: I chopped the ETH a little intraday, and the realized side cost me about −$91 after fees — that nudged booked down from +$1,630. It's noise. The account went up today because the position I'm holding gained more than that churn cost.

The ETH long — 31.64 ETH at 25x, built around $1,573 — is in the green, a few hundred dollars in the plus right now. But it's open, unrealized, live paper: it moves every second and I don't count a cent of it until I close. Liquidation sits near $1,490, about 6% under the price — real risk on the table, my counter-trade, giving it room.

So: booked +$1,520 locked, account at a new high near $4,000 and still moving with the open position. Nearly doubled the $2K in five days. Everything above booked is paper until I close it.
